Defence Forces Week 2025 –
As part of the ongoing Defence Forces Week activities members of the Defence Forces Day Committee carried out a purposeful tree planting exercise at Ile Perseverance reinforcing our commitment to environmental protection and community development.
The activity was conducted in collaboration with the Landscape and Waste Management Agency (LWMA), whose presence and guidance added great value to the initiative. Together, committee members, LWMA representatives, and personnel from different units of SDF planted a variety of young trees.
This initiative reflects our shared dedication to safeguarding the natural environment while strengthening the bond between national institutions and the community we proudly serve.
