Defence Forces Day Message from the Chief of Defence Forces 
As the Seychelles Defence Forces marks its 44th Defence Forces Day on 25th November, I extend my sincere congratulations and appreciation to all officers, NCOs, soldiers, sailors, airmen and women, and civilian staff for your unwavering dedication to your duty and to the nation.
Over the years, and especially throughout the recent times, members of the SDF have consistently demonstrated exceptional professionalism, discipline, and resilience. From safeguarding our vast maritime domain to supporting national security operations and responding to emergencies, your discipline, dedication and commitment continues to uphold the stability and confidence of our nation.
I also acknowledge the invaluable vital role of military families; whose ongoing support strengthens the resolve of those in uniform and contributes directly to the operational readiness of the force.
As the security environment continues to evolve, the SDF remains focused on enhancing its capabilities, strengthening partnerships, and preparing the next generation of servicemen and women. I am confident that, united in purpose and guided by the values that have shaped the institution since its inception, the Defence Forces will continue to meet future challenges with determination.
On this 44th Defence Forces Day, the I warmly extend my gratitude to all members of the SDF for their loyalty, service, and exemplary commitment to Seychelles.
