Courtesy Call by European Union Ambassador to the Seychelles 
The Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF) had the honour of receiving His Excellency Oskar Benedikt, Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Seychelles, for a courtesy call at the Integrated Defence Headquarters, Bel Eau.
Ambassador Benedikt met with the Chief of Defence Forces, Major General Michael Rosette, in the presence of the Deputy Chief of Defence Forces, Brigadier General Jean Attala, and the Chief of Staff, Colonel Michael Hollanda.
Discussions focused on the strong and longstanding cooperation between the European Union and the SDF, particularly in the domain of maritime security. Both sides highlighted the value of ongoing collaboration with EUNAVFOR, especially in maintaining safety and stability in Seychelles’ vast maritime domain and the wider Western Indian Ocean.
The SDF looks forward to further strengthening this partnership in support of shared security objectives
