SDF kickstart Defence Forces Week– Community Outreach at Foyer de Nazareth 
As part of the Defence Forces Day week-long programme, Defence Forces Day committee proudly kicked off with a meaningful visit to the children of Foyer de Nazareth, La Retraite. Soldiers from various units came together for this special outreach, sharing time, laughter, and heartfelt interactions with the children.
Our team participated in a series of fun activities designed to help us bond, learn from one another, and create joyful moments with the young residents. The warmth and appreciation shown by the children and staff made this experience truly memorable for everyone involved.
Community, compassion, and service lie at the heart of the Defence Forces and today’s visit was a beautiful reminder of our duty beyond the uniform to uplift, support, and connect with those around us.
A sincere thank you to the management of Foyer de Nazareth for welcoming us, and to all the soldiers who took part with dedication and enthusiasm. Today’s visit truly reflected our theme for Defence Forces Day: “Let’s Strive For Excellence in Unity & Peace.”
